The band was formed in Kyiv in 2004, the project leader is Vladislav Troitsky. During this time, DakhaBrakha has performed at famous world festivals, including Glastonbury, Lowlands, Womad, WOMADelaide, Sziget, Fusion, GlobalFEST, Helsinki Festival, Med and others. In 2020, the band received the Shevchenko Prize.

DakhaBrakha will be going on a tour of Ukraine in October. The concert in Bila Tserkva is a presentation of the album "Ptah". Along with new songs, familiar compositions that have been traveling the world with the band for a long time will also be performed.
