ЕТНО-ФЕСТИВАЛЬ «ЦВІТ ПАПОРОТІ» 2026
Where traditions come to life and modernity sounds new.
"Flower of the Fern" is a two-day ethno-cultural festival of Transcarpathia, which combines living folk heritage, music, crafts, gastronomy and a modern vision of Ukrainian culture. The symbol of the festival is the legendary fern flower, which in folk tales means the search for happiness, inner strength and the fulfillment of the most cherished dreams. That is why the festival creates a space where everyone can discover something real for themselves: traditions, people, history and their own meanings. For two days, the territory of the Uzhgorod Open-Air Museum will turn into a large living ethno-space with concerts, theatrical performances, master classes, lectures, gastro zones and a fair of craft producers.
THE FESTIVAL PROGRAM INCLUDES:
Performances of ethno bands and the modern folk scene Concert of the band "Pie and Batig" Special guest - Ivan Popovych Performance of the band Rock-H Ethno DJ Set in the open air Theatrical performance "Transcarpathian Wedding" Theatrical excursion "Mythology of Transcarpathia" Space for stories and lively conversations about the traditions and culture of the region Master classes: folk crafts; motanka doll; traditional cuisine; folk dance; acquaintance with the intangible cultural heritage of Transcarpathia. Gastrozone "Taste of Transcarpathia": bograch; banosh; local cheeses; wines and craft drinks; traditional Transcarpathian dishes. 1:00 PM — Grand opening of the festival and craft fair and gastro zone
14:00 — Master classes on the festival grounds
15:00 — Lectures and live conversations about traditions
16:00 — Main event “Transcarpathian Wedding”
19:00 — Concert of the band "Pie and Whip"
20:30 — Ethno DJ Set
Day 2 — July 26
13:00 — Opening of the second day of the festival
1:30 PM — Master classes: motanka doll, folk dance, traditional cuisine
15:00 — Theatrical excursion "Mythology of Transcarpathia"
16:30 — Space of Stories 17:30 — Performance by the Rock-H band
19:00 — Concert by Ivan Popovych
20:30 — Ethno DJ Set
Charitable goal of the festival The "Flower of the Fern" festival has a charitable component. 10% of the cost of each ticket will be donated to support the 68th Separate Territorial Defense Battalion "Transcarpathian Sharks". Also, the festival will host: charity auctions; win-win lotteries; collections via QR codes; raffles of gifts from partners. Each purchased ticket is a contribution to support the Ukrainian defenders.
