Symphony Concert

8 May 2026, Fri. 18:30 - 20:30
Dnipro Philharmonic named after L. Kogan Dnipro, Voskresenskaya Street 6

On May 8, the Dnipro Philharmonic will host a grand symphony concert featuring works by Liszt, Moniuszko, and Chopin. This is an evening of classical music that will help you switch off from your routine and find inner peace.

Your way of organizing anti-work parties

Sometimes, everyday tasks drag on so much that you feel like it's time to stop and just breathe. Numotamo suggests changing the setting and going out into the world where instead of alarming notifications, the live energy of the orchestra sounds. This is an opportunity to reduce stress levels and replenish your treasury of memories with something truly bright. If you are now choosing where to go in Dnipro to recharge your batteries, this evening will be a great choice for quality leisure.

A program for those who want to experience

This time, the Philharmonic is preparing music from the Romantic era, a time when art was the most sincere reflection of the human soul. You will hear every note in works that have become world classics:

  • Franz Liszt and his symphonic poem "Preludes." The composer embodied in it the idea that life is only a prelude to great achievements, so only light and faith reign in the music, without any hint of darkness.
  • Stanislav Moniuszko with the concert overture "Fairy Tale". The work has a light, fantastic folklore flavor that transports you to the world of fairy tales and allows you to forget about reality for a moment.
  • Frédéric Chopin. Piano Concerto No. 1, composed by the 20-year-old genius at the moment of passionate love. This is music, permeated with romance and virtuosity, which critics immediately recognized as brilliant.

World-class craftsmanship on the local stage

At the helm is Oleksandra Korobka, a Ukrainian conductor whose experience includes working in opera houses in Germany and Poland. She is known as the founder of the unique all-female orchestra “Queens Orchestra” and a master of combining artistic depth with the energy of modern musical leadership. The solo part will be performed by Tetyana Shafran, a pianist who has conquered prestigious halls from Paris and Oslo to Rio de Janeiro and Sydney. Her technique and emotionality have brought her gold at international competitions in the USA, Italy and France.

Numotamo suggests: hearing such a duet in one hall is a rare opportunity for urban anti-bodies. You can find out the price of tickets for the Symphony Concert at Numotamo.com.
