“Snow in April” is a play about feelings that don’t ask for permission. It’s about the chance to trust again and breathe a little easier alongside the characters.

Based on Polina Medvedeva’s adaptation of Tennessee Williams’ novella “The Roman Spring of Mrs. Stone.” Some of the dialogue is in English—this adds a vivid sense of another city and slightly shifts the rhythm of perception.

About the team

The production was created in collaboration with an international team. The set design is by Andreas von Schlippe, who works with theaters across Europe. Mirage Adventures and the Mark Prudkin Theater Arts Foundation (Israel) also participated in the project.

Director Polina Medvedeva is currently working in Ukraine. Her productions have already been presented at international theater festivals, including the Edinburgh Festival.
