Palace of Culture named after T. G. Shevchenkotruskavec, square Kobzar, 8
The new program “This choir, this choir I dream of every night” 2.0 by the “Homin” choir of the Lviv Organ Hall is a continuation of the story you have already fallen in love with. Even more retro hits, even more impressive arrangements, even stronger drive and the same effect when the first chords give you goosebumps. If you have been to a choir concert, you know what we are talking about. This is the case when you have to come again.
The “Homin” choir of the Lviv Organ Hall, under the direction of Vadym Yatsenko, will embark on a major Ukrainian tour in the summer of 2026 with an updated program of retro songs “This choir, this choir I dream of every night” 2.0 and will perform in Truskavets on August 2.
This is an evening of Ukrainian hits of the last century - songs that sounded on the radio, from tape recorders, at family holidays and on big stages. Legendary hits, charismatic retro, melodies that have long become part of our memory come to life in a new choral format. Familiar motifs sound large-scale, bright, with subtle irony and powerful emotion - so that you want to sing along, applaud and come back for more.
The “Homin” choir was created to popularize choral art, embody the best practices and achievements in the field of Ukrainian music. Founded in 1988, since 2023 it has become part of the Lviv Organ Hall, opening a new stage of development and large-scale projects. Under the leadership of Vadym Yatsenko, the choir has built a sound that combines academic accuracy, freedom and charisma.
In 2024 and 2025, “Homin” was recognized as the best choir in Ukraine according to the National Rating of the Ukrinform news agency “Infoboom-Classical Music”. And 2025 was a real explosion: the program “This choir, this choir I dream of every night” gathered sold-out audiences throughout Ukraine and was heard in Europe and North America.
Now it's version 2.0. Updated, bolder, even more exciting. If you dreamed about the first concert, this one will keep you awake with emotions. Buy tickets and run for your seat in the hall. This is the choir you really want to hear again.
