Свій власний стаціонарний дім театр знайшов у 1965-му, і тоді це було щось! Будівля стала першою в країні, зведеною з найсучаснішою технікою та обладнанням. У 2006-му театр отримав статус академічного, що теж багато про що говорить.

Були тут і непрості часи, як-от пожежа у 2015 році, що серйозно пошкодила глядацьку залу та перекриття. Але, на щастя, реквізит вцілів, а театр виявився настільки сильним, що відновився після масштабної реконструкції. Вже навесні 2021 року він знову урочисто відкрив свої двері, оновлений, але зберігши свою неперевершену душу.
