The Les Kurbas State Theater Arts Center is an innovative multi-functional space in Kyiv, created in 1994 and located at ul. Volodymyrska, 23v. The work of the institution started within a year. Nelly Kornienko became the director and founder of Les Kurbas NCTM. The main purpose of the center is to serve as a space for the implementation of various creative ideas, even the craziest ones. That is why young forces are encouraged here, who apply the latest methods and conduct bold artistic experiments, integrating the experience of modern world culture into the artistic and intellectual space of today's Ukraine and vice versa.

The Les Kurbas Center has three divisions:

• research;
• art and theater research laboratories;
• cultural department.

On the stage of the Kurbas Center, "alternative" theaters, studios, creative groups present their performances:
