Mystetsky Palace is not just a building with columns, but a real generator of "anti-everyday life" for the whole family. Here you can forget about everyday life, sign up for a dance or watch a movie for free. At Numotamo.com, we have collected the current poster of the institution so that you can easily plan your creative exit into the world.

Mystetsky Palace: From a Miner's Village to Starry Heights

This palace is a legend, built in 1955 according to the design of architect Bartashevich. Once it stood on a wasteland among the mines, and today it is the heart of the former Artem village. It was here that world stars, such as the “best dancer of the century” Vladimir Malakhov and famous Ukrainian singers Tatyana Piskareva and Masha Goya, took their first steps.

The layout of the palace allows you to have time to visit everywhere:

  • Performance part: A traditional theater hall with a lobby and a foyer for large shows and concerts.
  • Club wing: A space for studio work, where 16 creative groups are engaged, many of which have the titles of “folk” and “exemplary”.
  • Library-rarity: More than 50 thousand books and unique newspaper binders that cannot be found anywhere else in the world are stored here.

Inspiring art: From “Note” to "Dzyga"

The creative life of the Mystetskyi Cultural Center is a powerful mix of talents. The show group "Notka" works here, whose songs are known throughout Ukraine, and the exemplary ensemble "Dzyga", which conquers international festivals with folk dances. The palace's schedule is always full of events: from performances by the circus studio "Harlequin" to concerts by the legendary choir "Veteran".

The institution's special pride is its openness. Participation in groups and most events in the cinema hall at Bykova, 2 are free of charge. This is a place where professional leaders help children and adults find their calling and develop acting skills, emotionality and love for national culture.

Indestructibility and faith in victory

With the beginning of the Great War, the palace became a real fortress. The former basements-warehouses of scenery have been transformed into a modern invincibility point and bomb shelter with Wi-Fi, generators and children's rooms. The PC team did not stop working for a moment: the artists of the "artistic landing" performed on the front lines, and in the lobby they organized a powerful volunteer workshop for sewing ammunition and weaving nets.

Today, the palace is again welcoming children of servicemen and displaced persons, conducting master classes and game programs. And after the victory, the director of the institution, Serhiy Migusha, promises to organize a grand waltz in the lobby in honor of our heroes.
