Vie Theater Laboratory

The Vie Theater-Laboratory in Zaporizhzhia was founded in 1991 by actors of the Zaporizhzhia Youth Theater and musicians together with the studio of the director and playwright KLIMa. During the year, the institution was called "Free Space of Play", and in 1992 it received the name Vie (from the French - "life"). In 1995, the institution moved and was located on the island of Khortytsia at the address: 35, Naukovoy Mishechka Street. However, for three years, the reconstruction of the theater premises and landscaping work continued. Therefore, the grand opening of the Zaporizhzhia Municipal Theater-Laboratory Vie with a chamber hall for 96 seats at the new location took place on March 27, 1998.The founder and first director of the theater was Viktor Vasilyevich Popov.
Repertoire of the Vie Laboratory Theater
Since the theater opened with the performance "The Fourth Chair" based on the play by Tonino Guerra, Vie's repertoire has been replenished with new contemporary works that reflect the main principle of the creative team - the search for and implementation of new, relevant forms of expression. Among the theater's most famous works:- "Unawakening";
