Lyubart Castle in Lutsk is a place where history can be felt physically. Here, medieval walls, towers and courtyards create an atmosphere in which it is easy to imagine life several centuries ago.

Lutsk Castle: a symbol of Volhynia

This is one of the most famous and best-preserved fortifications in Ukraine, which has become a symbol of the city of Lutsk.

Its construction began in the 14th century during the reign of Prince Lyubart. The castle was the administrative and defensive center of Volhynia and played a key role in the medieval history of the region.
