Lilia Rebryk is a Ukrainian actress and TV presenter originally from Chernivtsi. Liliya was born into a family where discipline and education were of great importance. Her mother worked as a teacher and head teacher at a school. Her father was a military man, and later a police officer. Liliya has a sister, Yuliana Todoryuk, who chose the path of a dancer. From an early age, the future star combined creativity and sports - she studied piano at a music school and was engaged in rhythmic gymnastics. At the age of thirteen, she received the title of Master of Sports.
After graduating from school, Liliana chose the acting profession and went to Kiev to get an education. She became a graduate of the Kiev University of Theater, Film and Television named after I. K. Karpenko-Kary, where she studied with Valentina Zimnya. Later, Lilia returned to her native university as a teacher - she taught students stage plastic arts.
Creative path
Lilia took her first steps on the track of popularity and recognition while still a student - she starred in an advertisement for mineral water "Kuyalnik". It was then that she was noticed by a wide audience and producers. And soon the young actress got into the team of the Kiev Academic Young Theater.
Her debut on the big stage was the role of Ulyana in "Matchmaking on Goncharivka". Then there were Motrya in "Kaidashy", Lady Milford in "Cunning and Love", Galya in "After Two Hares" and many other images that made Lilia a favorite of theater fans.
In 2003, Lilia first appeared on the big screen - in the TV series "Lady Mayor". Since then, the actress's filmography has been replenished with almost fifty works: "Factory of Happiness", "Ice in Coffee Grounds", "Female Doctor-2", "Chalk Painting", "Brother for Brother-3" and many others.
Career in the television industry
In 2006, Lilia Rebrik was invited to the STB TV channel. At first, she worked in the program "Metropolis" and led the weather forecast. But real popularity came from the show "Everybody Dances!", which Rebrik began hosting in 2008. For this job, Lilia had to go through several castings and even an interview with a psychologist. Her sincerity and natural charisma made the project one of the most successful. For eight seasons in a row, the host was its constant face.
In 2009, Lilia replaced Nadiya Meikher in the program "Unbelievable Love Stories". At the same time, she was offered to host the show "Dinner Party", but due to a tight schedule, the star was forced to refuse.
In 2011, the TV presenter took part in the project "Dancing with the Stars" together with choreographer Andriy Dyky. Their couple reached the finals and took second place, and true love was born between Lilia and Andriy.
From 2017 to 2022, Rebryk hosted the morning show “Morning with Ukraine” on the Ukraina TV channel. In 2021, she appeared before fans of the show “Mask”, where she hid under the guise of a fairy. After the start of the full-scale invasion, she became the host of the projects “Morning at Home” and “I’m Waiting” on the Dim TV channel.
Social activity and civic position
In 2014, Liliya Rebryk participated in the creation of the charity calendar “Shchyri”, dedicated to the Ukrainian national costume. All proceeds from the sale were donated to the treatment of wounded ATO fighters in the Kyiv Military Hospital and to the Volunteer Hundred volunteer center of the Ukrainian Catholic University.
During the full-scale war, Liliya founded her own charitable foundation. The presenter actively supports Ukrainian defenders, participates in charitable initiatives and always expresses gratitude to the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine who defend the country.
