History of the group
BIGSHOW ORCHESTRA - Ukrainian orchestra, formed in Lviv in 2017. The team combines academic sound with thoughtful lighting and visual solutions. Thanks to the author's arrangements, familiar compositions — from classics to modern hits — sound different, with new accents and mood.
The repertoire includes a mix of genres: classics, rock, pop, jazz, film music and modern stage. It is the variety of programs that has helped the orchestra gather a wide audience. Among the famous projects:

Roman Machyshyn’s first performance as the leader of the orchestra took place with the program “World Hits about Love” on February 14, 2023 at the Lviv Opera. Then the event gathered a large number of listeners and became an important point of development for the collective.
The project THE HARRY POTTER SYMPHONY attracted special attention. Concerts of this program have already taken place in various cities of Ukraine. Live performance of music from the film saga is complemented by atmospheric presentation, and conductor Taras Martynyk has become recognizable to the public in this format.
Style and creative development of the collective
The orchestra actively works with the format of performances: adds interactivity, experiments with sound, collaborates with directors and contemporary artists. Invited guests appear in the programs, which expands the sound and makes each performance different. At the same time, respect for the academic tradition is maintained.
Among the collaborations are joint projects with Ukrainian performers:
- Olexander Ponomarev and Mykhailo Khoma - the program "Ukraine Will Win", which featured well-known songs and new compositions accompanied by symphonic music;
- the group "Dead Rooster" - the project "Christmas and Selected", which combined lyrics and live drive.
Today, BIGSHOW ORCHESTRA performs not only in Ukraine, but also abroad. The team continues to develop its own style and work with different formats, remaining open to new ideas.

- Roman Machyshyn adheres to the principle in his work: "The purpose of music is to excite hearts" (Johann Sebastian Bach);
- Maryna Hromadska has participated in international festivals and studied with famous violinists, including Marika Falskoga, Adelina Opreanu, Orest Smovzh, Mark Komonko, Sava Latsanich;
- Yuriy Roketskyi also works in other musical projects, in particular, he is the vocalist of the band "Dead Rooster" and a member of Green Silence;
- The musicians of the orchestra's rock band have experience in touring and are laureates of Ukrainian and international competitions.
