Becoming an artist
Yevgeny Khramtsov is a Ukrainian actor and director. The future star of the big stage received his professional knowledge while studying at the I. K. Karpenko-Kary Kyiv National University of Theater, Film and Television, majoring in “Acting in Theater and Film”. The path to fame and recognition began in the workshop of the People's Artist of Ukraine Bohdan Mikhailovich Benyuk. At the institute, Khramtsov received the qualification "Actor of Drama Theater and Cinema". Having received a diploma in 2015, the young actor began working with the creative team of the Lesya Ukrainka National Academic Drama Theater.
Creative path
After his debut on the big stage, Yevgeny Khramtsov's work at the Lesya Ukrainka Theater has been going on for over 10 years. During this time, the actor has gained real popularity and recognition from a large audience. Among the admirers of the artist with incredible charisma and bright talent are audiences of all ages. Khramtsov distinguished himself with notable roles in performances of various genres - from dramatic productions based on the works of classics to children's performances. The artist's creative output includes performances and roles:
- "The Cripple from Inishmaan" based on the play by Martin McDonagh (Little Bobby Bennett);
- "Oh!.. Andersen! Fairy Tales" based on the fairy tales of Hans Christian Andersen (The Second Prince);
- "The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time" by Simon Stevens based on the novel by Mark Haddon (Father Peters);
- “Romeo and Juliet” based on the play by William Shakespeare (Brother Giovanni, Franciscan monk);
- “A Liar Needed!” by Dimitris Psafas (The Bodyguard);
- “A Streetcar Named Desire” based on the play by Tennessee Williams (Steve).
Yevgeny Khramtsov also proved himself as a talented director. In this role, he participated in the following works of the theater:
- “Stefanyk. Novels” based on the works of Vasyl Stefanyk;
- “Stolen Happiness” based on the plot of Ivan Franko;
- “Ukraine in Fire” based on the film story by O. Dovzhenko.
The style and development of the artist

Awards and distinctions
In 2023, Yevhen Khramtsov was nominated for the Les Kurbas Theater Award as the director of the play "Stolen Happiness" based on the work of Ivan Franko.
