Becoming an artist
Oleg Zamyatin is a Ukrainian theater and film actor, People's Artist of Ukraine. The future star of the stage was born and raised in Kyiv. In 1988, he completed his studies at the Kyiv State Institute of Theater Arts named after Karpenko-Kary with a degree in "Acting in Theater and Film". He received the qualification "Actor of Drama Theater and Film". Then the artist's path to popularity and recognition of a wide audience began.
Creative path
Since 1988, after graduating from the institute, Oleg Zamyatin worked as an actor in the theater-studios "KIN", "Coliseum", "Let's be!" He collaborated with the creative group of the Experimental Theater. The actor made his debut on the big stage of the Lesya Ukrainka National Academic Drama Theater in 1993. Among more than 75 roles, the most famous works of the actor are:
- Gurgo ("Napoleon and the Corsican" by I. Gubach);
- Percy ("The Royal Games" by G. Gorin);
- Pastor ("Trees Die Standing" by A. Casona);
- Richard Willie ("No. 13" ("Crazy Night, or The Marriage of Pigden") by R. Cooney);
- Hooper ("Cat on a Hot Tin Roof" by T. Williams;
- Titus ("The Curious Mrs. Savage" by J. Patrick) and others.

Oleg Zamyatin's professional activity is not limited to filming in films and playing on stage. The actor takes an active part in all-Ukrainian and international events in the field of culture and creativity. Among them are the International Creative Project of the I. K. Karpenko-Kary KNUTKiT, the Lesya Ukrainka National Academic Drama Theater and the Embassy of Spain in Ukraine. As part of the event, a dramatic performance based on the play by Pedro Calderon de la Barca "Life is a Dream" was staged. Oleg Semenovich became the director of the play and played the main role in the production. In addition, the artist participates in the recordings of spiritual audiobooks.
Oleg Zamyatin is the artistic director of the acting course and associate professor of the Department of Acting and Drama Directing at the I. Karpenko-Kary. Under the wise guidance of the actor, the students of the course in 2024 won the Grand Prix in the nomination "Theatrical Genre" at the
International Art Multi-Genre Festival-Competition "Artistic Rays of Ukraine" (Ukraine-Italy).
Since 2024, Oleg Semenovich Zamyatin has been a member of the National Union of Theater Workers of Ukraine.
