After the eighth grade, she entered one of the best vocational schools in Vinnytsia, where she learned the profession of outerwear seamstress. The school director turned out to be a true connoisseur of art. Thanks to the enthusiasm of the head, dance, music, and theater groups operated at the educational institution. It was in the theater that the People's Artist of Ukraine Anatoly Mykolayovych Ovcharenko taught. An actor with bright charisma and a talented teacher was famous among fans of professional art. Ovcharenko became Iryna's first mentor in the world of the stage.
The talented actress worked at the Zhytomyr Theater for a little over a year. During this time, she played about five main roles. Irina Mak was actively involved in premieres and introduced into the repertoire. Her skill and popularity grew, but it became clear: without professional education, it would be difficult to move forward and gain recognition from a wide audience. Conquering the Stage of the Theater on the Left Bank
Irina Mak joined the theater's creative team in 1994. The actress made her debut with the role of Varka in the play "The Enchantress" (based on the play "The Talentless" by Ivan Karpenko-Kary). It so happened that the performer of the main role broke her leg. So Irina was offered to play in the play. She had only 6 days to prepare.
