History of the artist's development
FIЇNKA (real name – Iryna Vykhovanets) – Ukrainian singer and actress. A new star of the domestic music industry originally from Ivano-Frankivsk region. FIЇNKA turned her love for Hutsul roots into a distinctive creative style. Although the girl's family had no connection with the sphere of culture and art, Iryna sang, played the violin, and participated in vocal competitions from childhood. At first, she planned to enter a music college as a violinist. But at the last moment, she chose theater arts to combine acting, singing, and directing. Iryna graduated from the Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University.
Creativity and the stage have always attracted the owner of bright charisma. The talented author was a member of the creative group of the KVK school collective. The girl was engaged in writing humorous scripts. And over time, she realized: the true source of strength is in authenticity, in her native language and culture. That is how FIЇNKA was born - a name that comes from the dialect "фијнка", that is, "godmother", as her godfather called her since childhood.
Creative path
Today, FIЇNKA is known not only for her music, but also for her role as a comedic actress, in particular as the author of the popular YouTube show “Lizhnyk TV”. Her work is a sincere return to herself, to her roots, which inspires others. Iryna began her creative path on the stage of the theater. She played in performances of the Ivano-Frankivsk National Academic Drama Theater named after Ivan Franko.
The singer’s singing debut took place in 2019 with the release of the single “Gruba”. The track became a real musical calling card of the Carpathian village, conveying its mood, everyday life and spirit. The inspiration for creating the composition was a special event in the singer’s life – the expectation of a child. The singer’s first video clip was also shot at the same time.
Since 2022, FIЇNKA has been collaborating with the Enko label, which has produced the bright songs "Dovbush" and "Culture". Both releases led the singer to the final of the National Selection for the Eurovision Song Contest. In 2023, the song "Dovbush" made a strong impression on the audience and the jury. FIЇNKA did not become the leader of the vote, but she received recognition and support from fans. She also took a prominent place in the national hit parade with her song.
And in 2025, she again became a finalist of the National Selection with the song "Culture". This time, the tenth participant was determined by popular vote in the "Diya" application. More than 30% of the 26 thousand Ukrainians who took part in the vote voted for the contestant.

FIЇNKA defines her mission as the popularization of Hutsul authenticity – the language, customs, traditions and worldview of the inhabitants of the Carpathians. In the singer’s songs, the past naturally intertwines with the present, creating a bridge between the deep national heritage and the present. On the Internet, the singer is often called the ambassador of Hutsul culture. After all, in FIЇNKA’s compositions, she boldly uses dialect, characteristic pronunciation, folk melodies and intonations inherent in this ethnographic group of Ukrainians.
The singer does not hide that she strives to make Ukrainians “sound” – loudly, confidently and uniquely. According to her, the meaning of the songs always comes first. The visual component is not a priority for the artist, but it is important. Despite the lack of video clips for some releases, the number of listenings is only growing.
