Becoming an artist

Oleksandr Piskunov is a Ukrainian theater and film actor. The future star of the stage and screen was born in the Dnipropetrovsk region in the city of Nikopol. The boy showed a penchant for creativity from an early age. From the second grade until graduation, Sashko studied in a drama club under the guidance of Tamara Nikolaevna Surikova, where he developed his acting skills. At the same time, he showed interest in various forms of art - dance, vocals and music. While still a schoolboy, he began to independently master the piano. And over the years, when free time appeared, he improved his skills.

In addition, Alexander studied playing the duduk (a traditional Armenian wind instrument) and mastered the saxophone. He has experience writing his own songs. Given the powerful creative component in his character, the choice of a professional path was obvious. After school, Piskunov without hesitation entered the acting faculty of the Ivan Karpenko-Kary Kyiv National University of Theater, Cinema and Television. He successfully completed his studies in 2015.

The actor himself believes that his development as a theater artist was due to three key figures:

1. acting teacher Anatoly Yashchenko;
2. director Dmitry Bogomazov;
3. artistic director of the Left Bank Theater Eduard Mytnytsky.

Creative path

While still at the university, Alexander Piskunov's talent was noticed by Eduard Mytnytsky, the artistic director of the Kyiv Drama and Comedy Theater on the Left Bank of the Dnieper. It was he who invited the young actor to participate in the play "So the Summer Ended...", where Piskunov made his acting debut. And after completing his studies at the Ivan Karpenko-Kary KNUTKiT, Alexander received an invitation to join the theater's creative group. Playing on the stage of this institution, Piskunov gained real popularity and recognition from a wide audience.

The actor's modern repertoire attracts the attention of fans of various genres. In particular, the performer of bright roles can be seen in the performances:
