Creative path
Valeria Mykhaylova is a Ukrainian stand-up artist, a resident of Stand UP Battle Club, a star of open microphones and other entertainment formats. She has been actively conquering the humor industry since 2015. Only during the quarantine period due to the Covid epidemic did she take a break from her work. After the start of the full-scale war, Valeria Mykhaylova moved to Lviv. In April 2022, the Kharkiv native again took to the stage with stand-up. And this time – exclusively in Ukrainian. The transition did not become a challenge for the girl: most of the jokes that existed before have lost their relevance, because the world around her has changed. In their place came new topics. They were much closer to modern reality and sharply resonated with the thoughts and experiences of the audience.
Style of humor and topics of jokes
The first performances after returning to the stage concerned what the country lived through during wartime. Valeria spoke about resettlement, difficult everyday changes that affected everyone. She shared with her fans her own observations about the transition to Ukrainian. Her humor was frank, sharp, but at the same time warm. Each joke became a hit, reflecting the experiences of society and helping to find moments in difficult everyday life that bring a smile.Among other topics of Valeria's jokes are her own appearance, relationships with relatives, reflections on age, motherhood, marriage, the nuances of the resettlement process, and much more. It is the simple and understandable questions that the artist raises in her work that opened her way to popularity and recognition.
Fans could see the comedian as a host on the show "MoneyMike". Mikhailova also takes part in the concerts of "Cultural Defense", thereby making a significant contribution to supporting our military.
