Svitlana Zolotko is a Ukrainian theater and film actress, People's Artist of Ukraine. The future star of the big stage was born in the Kharkiv region, in the village of Verkhnya Ozeryana. Since childhood, the girl was fascinated by the world of culture and creativity. From a young age, she dreamed of a career as a ballerina. However, at the insistence of her father, she began her journey along the theater track. It turns out that her father accidentally gave her daughter not to a ballet studio, but to a drama club. And the future actress has never regretted her chosen direction.
Svetlana Zolotko acquired her professional knowledge and skills while studying at the I. Kotlyarevsky Kharkiv State Institute of Arts. The group's mentor was Trokhym Karpovich Olkhovsky.
Creative path
The actress's debut took place on the stage of the Nikolaev Drama Theater. The graduate of the institute joined the creative team of the institution in 1973. The bright charisma and talent of the young actress won the favor of theater art fans.
Svetlana Zolotko's popularity and recognition increased during her participation in the performances of the M. Gorky Crimean Academic Drama Theater and the Youth Theater of Kyiv. Since 1992, the actress has been playing on the stage of the Kyiv Drama and Comedy Theater on the Left Bank of the Dnieper.
