Becoming an artist
Volodymyr Zadniprovsky is a Ukrainian theater and film actor, Honored Artist of Ukraine. The future star of the big stage was born in Kyiv into a theatrical family. And this largely determined the choice of Volodymyr’s life path. The actor’s father is the famous Ukrainian actor Mykola Zadniprovsky, one of the brightest representatives of the creative team of the Ivan Franko Theater.
It is not surprising that the acting environment surrounded Volodymyr from childhood. However, at first the young man was not completely sure that he would choose the stage. But in the end, his father’s influence and the unique atmosphere of the theater did their job. Volodymyr Zadniprovsky graduated from the I. K. Karpenko-Kary Kyiv State Institute of Theatrical Art. He studied under Mykhailo Reznikovich. He received his diploma in 1980.
Creative path
After graduating from the institute, Volodymyr Zadniprovsky devoted more than 20 years of his life to work in the Lesya Ukrainka Theater. He made a successful debut on the stage of the institution and began his path to popularity and recognition by a wide audience. The actor's play with bright charisma and a wide creative range could be enjoyed by fans of various genres. In particular, from 1980 to 2008, Zadniprovsky played in the following performances:
- “The Snow Queen”;
- “The Player”;
- “From the Life of Insects”;
- “Treasure Island”;
- “Mother Courage and Her Children”;
- “The Young Years of Louis XI”;
- “Royal Games”;
- “Secrets of the Madrid Court” and others.
Since 2008, Volodymyr Zadniprovsky has represented the creative group of the Theater of Drama and Comedy on the Left Bank of the Dnieper. On the stage of the institution, whose performances have repeatedly participated in theater festivals, the actor plays in the following productions:
- "Legends of Kyiv" (Kapiton, Mischanyn 1);
- "Kotygoroshko" (Father Kotygoroshko);
- "Albatrosses" (Arthur).
