Olena Kravets is a Ukrainian actress, TV presenter, comedian and one of the most recognizable figures of Ukrainian humor and television. For many years she was associated with "Evening Quarter", and later with "Women's Quarter", where Olena became one of the key figures of the project.
Her stage style combines humor, self-irony, observation and calm live performance without unnecessary pathos. That is why performances and TV projects with the participation of Olena Kravets often become an option "where to go" when you want a little anti-everyday life and an evening with people who know how to speak to the audience normally, without artificiality.
Olena Yuriivna Kravets (before marriage - Malyashenko) was born on January 1, 1977 in Kryvyi Rih. Her father worked in the metallurgical sector, her mother was an economist at a bank.
Since her school years, Olena was fond of creativity: she participated in performances, sang, danced, and was interested in theater. After school, she entered the Kryvyi Rih Economic Institute, where she studied finance and credit.
It was during her student years that she began to actively perform in the KVC. There, Olena met future participants in the "95th Quarter", among whom was Volodymyr Zelensky.
In 1997, Olena Kravets joined the KVC team "95th Quarter". Later, the team grew into the studio "Kvartal 95", and Olena became the only woman in the main cast of "Vecherny Kvartal".
The audience remembered her stage images, improvisation and parodies of famous politicians and public figures. Among the most famous is the image of Yulia Tymoshenko, which for many years remained one of the most recognizable in the show.
In parallel, Olena worked not only as an actress, but also was involved in the organizational part of the studio's work. Colleagues often called her “the soul of the Quarter” because of her ability to keep the team and the process in balance.
Olena Kravets worked as a presenter and participated in various television projects, including “Ukraine, Wake Up!”, “League of Laughter” and other Ukrainian TV formats.
The actress also starred in films and TV series by the “Quarter 95” studio, including “Servant of the People” and the film “Me, You, He, She”. Her roles combined comedy and calm natural delivery — without the feeling that the character was “overacting for effect”.
In 2020, Olena joined the Ukrainian dubbing of the Pixar cartoon “Soul.”
In 2018, Olena Kravets became one of the initiators and artistic director of "Women's Quarter" — a humorous show where exclusively women perform on stage.
The project became a separate direction of Ukrainian comedy, combining stage humor, everyday observations and themes familiar to many viewers. Without trying to "teach life lessons" — rather through self-irony and recognizable situations.
Olena Kravets participates in charitable initiatives and supports social projects. In particular, she joined the activities of the Tabletochki Foundation and participated in charity concerts and gatherings for the Armed Forces of Ukraine after the start of the full-scale war.
After 2022, the actress spent some time abroad with her children, but continued to work on creative projects remotely. Later she returned to Ukraine.
In 2022, Olena Kravets also announced the end of cooperation with the Kvartal 95 studio after 25 years of work. According to her, this was an important stage of personal changes and the search for new formats of work.
Since 2002, Olena Kravets has been married to Serhiy Kravets, a producer and former member of the KVR team "95th Quarter".
The couple is raising three children: daughter Maria and two younger children - Kateryna and Ivan. Olena has repeatedly said in interviews that it is her family that helps her maintain a balance between the stage, television and ordinary life.
Today, Olena Kravets continues to work in the field of television, acting and creative projects. Her public image has long gone beyond the limits of the humorous genre - many perceive her as one of the most recognizable women of the Ukrainian stage.
