Serhiy Bondarenko
Serhiy Bondarenko, without exaggeration, is one of the best actors of the Kyiv National Academic Operetta Theater.
He graduated from the vocal faculty of the Kiev State Conservatory named after P.I. Tchaikovsky (class of teacher I. Vilinskaya). He worked as a soloist of the "Kiev Concert" and the "Kiev State Music Hall". In 1977, the young singer successfully participated in the International Festival "Golden Autumn" (Bratislava), and later became a laureate of the XII World Festival of Youth and Students in Moscow.
He has been working at the Kyiv National Academic Operetta Theater since 1987. During this time, he has played such leading roles as: Edwin ("Silva" by I. Kalman), Henry, Prince Orlovsky ("The Bat" by J. Strauss), Count Danylo ("The Merry Widow" by F. Lehar), Tasillo ("Maritza" by I. Kalman), Henry Higgins ("My Fair Lady" by F. Lowe), Omonay ("The Gypsy Baron" by J. Strauss), Porgy ("Porgy and Bess" by J. Gershwin), Maxim Ballet ("Clo-Clo" by F. Lehar), Meshem ("A Glass of Water" by O. Zhurbina), Count Pototsky ("Sofia Pototskaya" by O. Kostina) and many others.
