Becoming an artist
Tina Karol is a Ukrainian singer and songwriter, actress and presenter, composer and musician, producer, as well as a writer and philanthropist. The future star of the Ukrainian music industry was born in the Magadan region in the town of Orotukan. At birth, her name and surname were Tetyana Lieberman. In 1992, the family moved to Ivano-Frankivsk. The singer's parents had no connection to the world of creativity and culture. After all, they were engineers by education. However, young Tina showed an obvious talent for singing and music.
Even as a child, Tina Karol took her first steps towards the professional stage. In her native Ivano-Frankivsk, she entered a music school, where teachers immediately saw in the girl an extraordinary talent and charisma. She received her education in the piano class. However, she later decided on a different direction - pop singing. The future artist continued her studies at the Glier Kyiv State Higher Music College.
In 2003, the rector of the college, composer Oleksandr Zlotnyk, invited the young student to the role of Margaret in the musical "Equator". The premiere took place on the stage of the Kyiv Operetta Theater. This production was a real breakthrough. And Tina Karol's debut on the big stage brought the performer her first major recognition among the audience and opinion leaders in the artistic sphere.
Two years later, in 2005, the singer passed a competitive audition for the Song and Dance Ensemble of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and soon became a soloist of the group. In parallel with the musical one, Tina Karol received another higher education. She graduated in absentia from the Faculty of Management and Logistics at the National Aviation University.

Since childhood, Tina Karol has actively participated in various vocal competitions and festivals. The talented performer has repeatedly won. Her talent was noticed everywhere – from the Golden Trembits and the Young Stars of Prykarpattia to such large-scale events as the Black Sea Games and Your Talents, Ukraine. In 2001, the singer even represented Israel at the Seven Cultures festival.
Tina made a particularly strong statement in 1997–1998, when she won a number of competitions with her song dedicated to Volodymyr Ivasyuk, Your Melody. But real popularity and wide recognition came to Tina Karol after her triumphant appearance at the New Wave 2005 festival. It was then that the singer first used her stage name. The performer took second place, and also received a special Alla prize and 50 thousand dollars.
