Viktor Saraikin is a Ukrainian actor, holder of the title of Honored Artist of Ukraine, People's Artist of Ukraine, member of the National Union of Cinematographers of Ukraine. The future star of the stage grew up in a family of deaf-mute people. The loss of hearing and speech of his mother and father was a consequence not of congenital, but of acquired circumstances: the ability to hear and speak normally was deprived of Viktor's parents by illness. Therefore, these factors did not have a genetic influence on the son, but the parents' illnesses affected communication and upbringing in the family. In addition, Magnitogorsk, where Viktor Saraikin was born, is known as a place where exiles and prisoners were once taken. Therefore, the criminal contingent surrounded the boy from early childhood.

Despite the unfavorable circumstances, Viktor's fate was happy. At school, the boy found support from a young teacher who changed his life. Thanks to the advice of his mentor, Viktor began to engage in figure skating, became interested in music and literature, and also enrolled in a drama studio. The schoolboy became seriously interested in the sphere of culture. It was then that his passion for acting was born. At any free moment, Viktor would rush to the cinema to see a new film. To earn money for tickets, he helped prepare posters: he washed off old inscriptions and primed canvases. The boy's dream was to see himself on the big screen. He believed that one day he would gain popularity and recognition, like movie stars in their favorite films.

Viktor Saraikin had no doubts about his future choice. After school, the young man decided to devote himself to the performing arts industry. Provincial theater schools did not interest the young man. Firstly, he had long dreamed of moving from Magnitogorsk. Secondly, since childhood, Victor was fascinated by postcards with images of famous actors, who became role models for him. All of them, as it turned out, were graduates of prestigious educational institutions, and this inspired the boy to strive for greater things. So Saraikin entered the State Institute of Theatrical Art named after O. Lunacharsky, which he graduated from in 1980. The graduated actor held an invitation to work in the troupe of the Theater on Malaya Bronnaya. However, for objective reasons, the cooperation lasted only a few days. Together with his wife, Viktor Saraikin moved to Kyiv.

Creative path

Viktor Saraikin's acting debut took place on the stage of the Theater of Drama and Comedy on the Left Bank of the Dnieper, where the young artist was invited to work by actor Pavel Morozenko. Then came military service and, after its completion, a return to the Theater on the Left Bank of the Dnieper. But later, Viktor began to have misunderstandings with the main director. For several years, Saraikin did not receive a single role, even in the extras, which became a serious test of patience and faith in his own talent. The artist almost found himself on the sidelines of the profession. But having survived a difficult period, on the advice of his wife, he began to pay more attention to the film industry, where he had already made a successful debut. The situation in the theater also changed. The artist began to receive the opportunity to periodically perform different roles, which gave him a chance to return to the stage, realize his creative potential and demonstrate his bright natural charisma.

Already in the early 90s, Viktor Saraikin received more and more roles in the cinema. Among the films and TV series with the actor's participation:
