Цей Київський академічний театр драми і комедії, що на Броварському проспекті, 25, розпочав свою історію у 1978 році. Майже сорок років ним керував видатний режисер Едуард Митницький. З січня 2023 року колектив очолює заслужена артистка України Олеся Жураківська, а головна режисерка театру — Тамара Трунова.
