Bahroma is a Ukrainian band, often called "romantic rockers". Their songs are easy to recognize by their mood: a little melancholy, a little drive and a lot of live emotion. If you are looking for a place to go to get in the mood and want a concert where the audience sings along with the artists, you should check the poster on Numotamo or Numotamo.com.
Bahroma's success
In 2011, the band became a finalist in the Ukrainian national selection for Eurovision. This gave a noticeable impetus to development and recognition. Later, the musicians recorded their own version of the track "Movement Towards Spring" from the album "Ichthyology" by the group "Aquarium", paying tribute to the classics.
The first single "Chi nadovgo" appeared back in 2009. It was recorded at the Kyiv studio "211", and the sound producer was Milos Yelich - keyboardist and arranger of "Okeanu Elzy". The debut album "Usredini" was released in 2014, and in 2015 the band presented the mini-album "Ipy", on which Yelich also worked.
In 2016, Bahroma released the album "+-=". It included collaborations with Ukrainian artists:
- Zhenya Galich (O.Torvald) — «Sex-Drugs-Rock-n-Roll»;
- Yarmak — «#BOY».
In 2017, the band presented the album «Dom». The material for it was created in an isolated format: they rented a house and worked there during the winter.
In 2019, the lineup underwent changes, and the band continued its existence in an updated format. The first part of the album trilogy «Kommersant» was released. The release included tracks that touch on the topic of mental health, in particular «Hero» and «Conscience». The project was supported by Ukrainian artists, including Alyona Alyona, ONUKA and Daria Kolomiec.
Bahroma concerts
After the release of the first releases, the band actively toured Ukraine. The program included solo concerts, festivals and large stages. Bahroma performed at Atlas Weekend, Zahid Fest, Respublika Fest, Skhid ROK and other events.
They also had joint performances with Hurts, Good Charlotte, Brainstorm, Okean Elzy, Boombox and Sergey Babkin. At the same time, the musicians themselves constantly emphasize the importance of live performances - without "backings" and unnecessary effects.
In recent years, the band has often chosen an acoustic format. This option sounds more chamber, but no less emotional. One of these performances took place in 2021 at the Maly Opera in Kyiv.
