Epolets

Epolets is a Ukrainian rock band from Odessa, which combines alternative rock, grunge and the energy of concerts, after which your ears will ring for a long time. History of the Epolets band

The band appeared in Odessa in 2012. At the start, the musicians performed under the name The Rolling Bones and played covers. It was this period that gave the team extensive concert experience and helped shape their own sound.

Later, the group changed its name to Epolets and began to actively develop original material. The band received special attention after participating in the vocal show X-Factor, where they worked in the team of Andriy Khlyvnyuk from Boombox.

The musicians perform songs in Ukrainian, English and Russian. In their work, Epolets combines various musical influences - from 70s disco and 80s hard rock to 90s grunge. The result is a modern sound with light melodies, drive, and the frontman's recognizable delivery.

As of 2021, the band has released four studio albums:

• Dogma (2014)
• Cult (2016)
• Children of the Sea (2017)

The sound producer of the album Cult was Miloš Jelic, keyboardist and arranger of the band "Ocean Elzy". One of the notable releases of this period was the single "I Want to Be with You".

It is difficult to confine Epolets' creativity to one genre. Their tracks have rock energy, melody, and light self-irony. That is why the band consistently gathers its audience — people who love live music without unnecessary pathos.

Epolets concerts

A separate part of Epolets' history is concerts and festivals. Over the years of active performances, the band has taken part in over 30 Ukrainian and international music events, including "Fajne misto", Respublica, Woodstock, Razomfest, Summer Sound and other festivals.

On stage, Epolets focus not only on sound, but also on contact with the audience. There, strong vocals, dense live sound, and an atmosphere are expected when the crowd starts singing together without separate requests. In short, their concert format works very well.
