KHAYAT (Khayat) is a Ukrainian musician and songwriter who creates in the folktronics style. The artist’s music harmoniously combines elements such as ethnic pop and electronic sound. Andriy Khayat comes from the city of Znamyanka, in the Kirovohrad region. The young man mastered the accordion, having received an education at a music school. In 2019, he completed his studies at the M. P. Dragomanov National Pedagogical University, where he studied English and Arabic.

Creative path
In June 2018, Andriy Khayat presented his first single Devochka. In October, a video clip for the composition was released, directed by Sevin Dieva. In December of the same year, the Masterskaya record label released Raw Compilation, Vol. 4. The collection includes Hayat's song "Clearly", selected from the tracks sent by young performers. Andriy Hayat gained wide popularity and recognition among Ukrainian music lovers during his participation in the ninth season of the show "Voice of the Country". The performer with a unique style and bright charisma joined the team of the famous singer and producer Tina Karol. The contestant passed the selection stages and reached the live broadcasts. In the final of the project, the singer took an honorable 3rd place. Andriy Hayat's unique timbre and soulful singing made the young performer a real star of the show.
In 2019, Andriy Hayat presented his first album Khmil'. The compositions of the record organically combine folk vocals and electronic sound. On the day of release, the album rose to second place in the iTunes TOP-200 Releases Ukraine rating. That same summer, KHAYAT's work conquered the stage of the largest festival in Eastern Europe - Atlas Weekend. Andriy performed his own composition. In 2019, Andriy Khayat became a semi-finalist in the national selection. On January 31, the performer presented the competition song Ever. Performing in the second semi-final at number six, the singer took fifth place. In 2020, KHAYAT again took part in the selection for Eurovision with the song Call for Love. In the final, the singer took second place. Throughout the selection events, the artist remained the favorite of bookmakers and won the hearts of thousands of fans.
