Becoming an artist
Iryna Melnyk is a Ukrainian theater and film actress, dubbing actress, Honored Artist of Ukraine. The future star of the domestic theater scene and film industry was born in the small town of Fastiv, in the Kyiv region. Iryna grew up in a family where cinema was an integral part of everyone's life. So it is natural that the sphere of culture and creativity interested the girl from an early age.
After school, Iryna chose the acting track and entered the Nemirovich-Danchenko Moscow Art Theater School-Studio. She studied at the course of Honored Artist Viktor Manyukov. In 1983, she successfully graduated from the studio.
Creative path
After graduation, Iryna Melnyk moved to Kyiv, where she began her theatrical career. The actress's debut took place on the stage of the Film Actor's Theater-Studio. The institution worked at the legendary Dovzhenko Film Studio, where iconic films of Ukrainian cinema were created.
Since 1983, Iryna has regularly performed in front of an audience, while also participating in filming. At that time, her name was still known only to a small number of fans of stage art. However, her perseverance and love for the profession, as well as natural charisma and talent, brought the moment of wide recognition closer.
Iryna Melnyk continued her creative development in collaboration with the troupes of the theaters "ARS" (Kyiv), "Zoloti Vorota", "Bravo". In 2001, she joined the professional group of the Drama and Comedy Theater on the Left Bank of the Dnieper. The modern repertoire of the performer of bright roles includes works:

Iryna Melnyk made her film debut in 1981. She started off with a lightning-fast lead role. The actress played Zhenya Verboloz in the comedy "Women Are Seriously Joking".
In 1992, Iryna Melnyk appeared in one of the most famous adventure films of that time, "Hearts of Three". She played the role of Mercedes. The film, based on the work of Jack London, won over fans of the genre and introduced the talented actress to a wide audience. The interest in the personality of the talented actress also increased on the part of directors and producers. Over the years of her career, Irina has played dozens of bright and diverse characters in films and television series.
