The path to a musical career

His father, Yuri Pavlovich, comes from a farm in the Poltava region. He graduated from the Kyiv Medical Institute. He did his pre-graduate internship in Bryansk, where he met his future wife. Anna was then working as a kindergarten teacher. Shortly after the wedding, the young couple moved to Khodzhent on a distribution.
So the first years of the childhood of the future star of the Ukrainian music scene were spent in Central Asia. In the family circle and in kindergarten, Oleg, the owner of bright charisma, was the constant main character of the holidays. The boy sang, danced and recited poems from the age of four. So Skrypka's stage debut took place early. His mother was seriously engaged in raising his son, instilling in him a love of culture and creativity. The seven years spent in Khujand left a deep mark on the boy's worldview. Eastern culture, national melodies, the vastness of the desert, the peaks of the Pamirs... All this formed a deep emotional foundation, which later manifested itself in the choice of his life path.
After several years in Central Asia, the family moved to the city of Kirovsk, located on the Kola Peninsula. Here Oleg was distinguished by excellent academic success. The exact sciences (physics and mathematics) were especially easy. The student repeatedly won school competitions and olympiads. However, discipline was not the young man's strong point.
